Learning About Culture Through Dance

Thinking today about Sir Ken Robinson's thoughts about the travesty of dance not being taught in school. So, here's a short video of a small group of some of my 9th grade history students who are trying to understand the Renaissance... through dance:

  1. Dancing has always been the fun-filled way of learning, especially in line with the appreciation of art & history, in which their movements show how the times progressed. Just try to watch some people who do interpretative dances, and you'll get it.
